We have had a most remarkable moon for a couple of days. Yesterday and the day before the moon was red. What is the meaning of that? How would I research that? I look up several links but not much to go on. It happened in the beginning of this year and will not happen again for many years. So why was every one here talking about the red-moon. Is there something about it in the Bible? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

As regards the red moon, I do not know what you have seen. But yes, there is a reference in the Bible. Jesus was often asked by people how they would know when He is going to come again. He clarified that there would be many distinct signs at that time in the skies. One was that the sun would get darkened and the other was that the moon would not give its light. However Jesus did not say anything about the red moon (Matthew Chapter 24)
It was the prophet Joel (there is his book in the Old Testament) who prophesied that at the end of this age, the sun would get darkened and the moon would appear bloody red. This is perhaps what you have been looking for. As a meteorologist I can only say that the moon could appear red because of atmospheric and optical effects and not necessarily because something happened to the moon itself.
